I’m happy to declare that Photography Life is employing part-time and full-time authors to join our growing group! All the details and the application form are usually below.

Work Description

Every week, writers at Photography Lifetime work hard to publish the best pictures content online. To keep improving our articles and post more frequently, we want to expand our team of skilled writers plus photographers.

If you want writing and taking pictures, it is a chance to get paid for it. You can work remotely from all over the world, whether from the comfort of your home or from the road with an extended photography trip. We offer competitive pay, flexible hours, and a high degree of innovative control.

You may already know, Photography Life’s articles protect a variety of topics: gear notices, tutorials, reviews, creative documents, and so on. We’ll tailor your assignments to the types of content you prefer to write, and you are also free to come up with topics on your own. In general, we anticipate you to illustrate these content articles using your own photos.

When you’re area of the team, Spencer and I is going to be available to answer any questions you have about writing just for Photography Life. We will edit your work before publication to ensure it meets our higher standards. All you need to do is certainly bring your best writing plus photos; we’ll be your coaches on everything else.

Requirements

Applicants for this job may shoot any genre associated with photography and use any kind of brand or type of camera. You can also apply from all over the world.

We have 2 requirements: You must be able to commit to writing multiple articles a month, and you must be 18 or even older (or turning eighteen soon).

Please include the following information if you submit your application:

  • A brief resume or bio regarding your photography
  • A sample of your best writing
  • A link for your portfolio of images

For the writing sample, we prefer to study a photography-related article a person already posted online, regardless of whether on a personal blog or elsewhere. If you don’t have any published work, please create a high-quality, photography-related article of at least 500 words including it in your application.

The application period is definitely any time within the next two weeks, finishing on November 30 at nighttime Eastern time. There is no advantage to rushing your distribution. I recommend taking your time and making sure the application reflects the high quality of your work.

Pay attention to grammar, conciseness, readability, and technical accuracy in your submission. Writers with a voice are welcome! During a technical article, you don’t need to strip the personality.

Please make use of our “ Publish Content ” type to submit the aforementioned information. Please make sure to put everything into a single ZIP document when submitting your form, so that we can get every files through a single submitting.

If we haven’t given you a yes or any by December 7, make sure you message us again. We expect a high volume of applications and don’t want to skip anyone on accident. There might be a second round of applications or interviews if we have to narrow it down even more.

Spencer and I will email applicants exactly who pass the first round to talk about the hours/articles you can agree, the hiring structure functions for you, and our comprehensive pay rates.
