Christensen’s best and newest work examines the forms and colours of the girl new southwest home

007 , the particular seventh installation in the ongoing collaboration between Setanta Books and Open Doors Photo gallery, focuses on geometric work from the photographer. Six years ago, the lady experienced an unplanned proceed from her home of Kentucky to Santa Fe, New Mexico, leaving the girl career in psychotherapy simultaneously. Reflecting amid her new home, she found an additional life in photography, exploring the mix of local structures and colourful aesthetics.  

Christensen has now exhibited operate London, Berlin, New York and Los Angeles. She became one of five photographers invited to exhibit on the National: Best of Contemporary Photography show at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art plus was recently named the photographer to watch at the Los Angeles Center for Digital Artwork.

In 007 , Christensen is concerned using the chromatic and geometric environments found across southwest The united states. Hidden spots, swimming pool edges, cloudy skies and slanted concrete all become people within her archive. The particular vibrancy is playful plus renders her new house otherworldly and mysterious.
